Is it worth replacing the windscreen on an older car?

Sometimes not, and we will say so. If the car is near the end of its life and the damage is outside the driver's view and not spreading, a repair may well see it out. If the crack is in the sweep, growing, or the car needs to pass a roadworthy, replacement is the honest answer. We would rather give you the real picture than the expensive one.

Can you come early for a work ute?

Yes — we start from 7am, which for most trades means the ute is done and cured before it is needed. If the vehicle is only home overnight, an early Rochedale South start is the way to do it without losing a day's work.

My screen looks hazy at night. Is that damage?

That is pitting: thousands of microscopic impacts accumulated over years, which scatter oncoming headlights into a glare. It cannot be repaired or polished out, and it is a genuine safety issue on unlit roads. Replacement is the only fix.
