Truck windscreen replacement, at your depot

A truck earns nothing sitting in a glass shop. We fit prime mover, rigid and tipper screens on site — at the depot, the yard, a customer's dock or the roadside — and schedule around your run times.

Single owner-drivers through to multi-vehicle fleets, across Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and Bayside. Flat laminated glass sourced or cut to pattern, including older and imported cabs.

How we keep the truck working

We come to the truck

Depot, yard, customer dock or roadside. No call-out fee in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan or Bayside, and no driver sitting in a waiting room.

Booked around your run

Early starts and between-shift windows where we can. Tell us when the vehicle is idle and we will work to it rather than to our diary.

Glass located first

We confirm the screen is in hand before we book the slot, so the truck is not immobilised waiting for a part that has to come from interstate.

Multiple vehicles, one visit

Fleets get several units done in the same attendance — chips repaired while a screen on the next truck cures.

Defect risk handled

Damage in the driver's critical viewing area, cracks over 150 mm or chips over 16 mm can fail inspection. We tell you honestly which of your screens will not pass.

Account arrangements

Regular operators can run an account instead of paying per job. Call and we will set it up.

Truck FAQs

What operators ask

More on the full FAQ page.

Do you come to the depot?

Yes — nearly all truck work is done on site at the depot, the yard, a customer's site or the roadside. There is no call-out fee within Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and Bayside, and no need to route the vehicle through a workshop.

How long is the truck off the road?

Allow around 90 minutes to two hours for a prime mover screen, plus adhesive cure time before it can be driven. Booked in advance and fitted where the truck already sits, most units lose less than half a shift.

Can you get glass for an older or imported cab?

Usually. Heavy vehicle windscreens are often flat laminated, which means they can be cut or sourced to pattern even when the model is long out of production. Give us the make, model, year and build plate details and we will confirm before you commit.

Do you handle fleets and multiple vehicles?

Yes. We work with transport operators and commercial fleets, schedule around run times, attend several vehicles in one visit and can set up an account arrangement so drivers are not paying on the spot.

Is a cracked truck windscreen a defect risk?

It can be. Damage in the driver's critical viewing area, cracks longer than 150 mm and chips larger than 16 mm can all fail a Queensland inspection. A defect notice on a working truck costs considerably more than the glass does.
