Four jobs, one van, your driveway
Stone chip repair
Resin injected under vacuum into the break, cured and polished flush. Stops the chip spreading and keeps your original factory-sealed glass in the car.
About 30 minutesWindscreen replacement
Old screen cut out cleanly, the pinchweld prepped and primed, new glass bonded with automotive urethane to the correct bead height.
60–90 minutesSide & rear glass
Door glass, quarter glass and rear windows. We vacuum the shattered tempered glass out of the door cavity, carpet and seat rails before we go.
Same visitADAS calibration
Forward-facing camera re-aimed to the manufacturer's target spec after fitting, so lane keeping and emergency braking read the road correctly.
Adds 30–60 minutesIf your car has a camera behind the mirror, it needs recalibrating
Lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control all read the road through a camera bonded to the windscreen. Move the glass by a millimetre and the camera's aim changes.
We calibrate to the manufacturer's target specification after fitting, so those systems work exactly as they did before. Skipping it is not a saving — it is a safety system pointed at the wrong part of the road.
- Static and dynamic calibration
- Adds 30–60 minutes to the job

How long does a car windscreen replacement take?
60 to 90 minutes on site for most cars, plus 30 to 60 minutes if your vehicle needs ADAS camera calibration. Safe drive-away time after fitting is typically one hour, and we give you the exact figure before we leave.
Can you repair a stone chip, or does the whole screen have to go?
If the chip is smaller than a 20-cent coin and sits outside the driver's direct line of sight, it can almost always be repaired. A resin repair takes about 30 minutes, restores the structural strength of the glass and stops the damage spreading. Once a crack runs past roughly 15 cm or reaches the edge, replacement is the safe option.
Why does one car windscreen cost more than another?
It is the glass specification, not the car's badge. Rain and light sensors, heated wiper park zones, acoustic laminate, heads-up display, solar tint bands and ADAS cameras all change what has to be sourced. Tell us the make, model and year and we will price the exact screen your car takes.
Do you replace side and rear windows too?
Yes — door glass, quarter glass and rear windows. Tempered side glass shatters into thousands of pieces, so part of the job is vacuuming it out of the door cavity, the carpet and the seat rails so it does not rattle out later.
Can I drive away straight after?
Not immediately. The urethane adhesive needs to reach a safe strength first, which is typically about an hour. Your technician tells you the exact safe drive-away time for the adhesive used on your car, and it is worth waiting — the windscreen is a structural part of the roof in a rollover.
Broken side or rear window instead? We replace door, quarter and rear glass at your address too — and clear the shattered glass out of the door cavity and carpet properly, which is most of that job.
