Yards, docks and work vehicles

A ute with a cracked screen is a defect risk and an unusable asset. We attend Richlands business addresses, do several vehicles in one visit and invoice the company rather than the driver.

Talk it through with a technician
  • Multiple vehicles, one attendance

Chips repaired on the second and third vehicle while the first screen cures. Far cheaper than separate call-outs.

  • Account billing

Regular operators run an account with us rather than paying per job. Drivers never have to hand over a card.

  • Early starts

From 7am, so vehicles are back in service before the run starts.

What we do in Richlands

Every auto glass job, brought to your driveway

Stone chip repair

Resin injected under vacuum into the break, cured and polished flush. Stops the chip spreading and keeps your original factory-sealed glass in the car.

About 30 minutes

Windscreen replacement

Old screen cut out cleanly, the pinchweld prepped and primed, new glass bonded with automotive urethane to the correct bead height.

60–90 minutes

Side & rear glass

Door glass, quarter glass and rear windows, including vacuuming the shattered tempered glass out of the door cavity, carpet and seat rails.

Same visit

ADAS calibration

Forward-facing camera re-aimed to the manufacturer’s target spec after fitting, so lane keeping and emergency braking read the road correctly.

Richlands FAQs

What locals ask

General questions on the full FAQ page.

Can you attend our Richlands yard and do several vehicles?

Yes — that is a normal day for us. We will do multiple units in one attendance, repairing chips on the next vehicle while the previous screen cures. It costs far less than booking separate call-outs and it takes one block out of your schedule instead of three.

Can you invoice the business rather than the driver?

Yes. Regular operators run an account with us, so drivers never need to hand over a card or claim it back. Call and we will set the arrangement up.

Is a cracked windscreen a defect risk on a work vehicle?

It can be. Damage in the driver's critical viewing area, cracks longer than 150 mm or chips over 16 mm can fail a Queensland inspection, and a defect notice on a working vehicle costs a great deal more than the glass. While we are on site we will look over the rest of the fleet and tell you which screens will not pass.
