Is it worth fixing the windscreen on an old car?

Often a repair is, and a replacement often is not. If the damage is outside the driver's view and not spreading, a 30-minute resin repair may well see the car out. If it is in the wiper sweep, growing, or the vehicle needs to pass a roadworthy, replacement becomes the honest answer. We will tell you which it is rather than defaulting to the expensive option.

Will my insurance cover a chip repair?

Very often, and frequently with the excess waived or reduced for a repair specifically — some policies include one free chip repair a year. It costs nothing to check. Have your policy number handy when you call and we will go through it with you.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and given over the phone — tell us the make, model, year and what the damage looks like and you get a firm number, not a range. There is no call-out fee either.
