Honest advice on older vehicles
Plenty of the cars we do in Inala have a lot of years on them. Talking someone into a premium windscreen for a vehicle that does not need one is not how we have stayed in business since 2005.
Talk it through with a technician-
Repair before replace
A resin repair costs a fraction of a new screen and keeps the factory seal. We always check whether one will hold first.
-
Insurance excess check
Many comprehensive policies waive the excess on a chip repair entirely. Worth a phone call before you pay anything.
-
No call-out fee
We come to your driveway or the kerb. There is no charge for coming out, and no charge for a quote.
Every auto glass job, brought to your driveway
Stone chip repair
Resin injected under vacuum into the break, cured and polished flush. Stops the chip spreading and keeps your original factory-sealed glass in the car.

Old screen cut out cleanly, the pinchweld prepped and primed, new glass bonded with automotive urethane to the correct bead height.
60–90 minutesSide & rear glass
Door glass, quarter glass and rear windows, including vacuuming the shattered tempered glass out of the door cavity, carpet and seat rails.
Same visitADAS calibration
Forward-facing camera re-aimed to the manufacturer’s target spec after fitting, so lane keeping and emergency braking read the road correctly.

Is it worth fixing the windscreen on an old car?
Often a repair is, and a replacement often is not. If the damage is outside the driver's view and not spreading, a 30-minute resin repair may well see the car out. If it is in the wiper sweep, growing, or the vehicle needs to pass a roadworthy, replacement becomes the honest answer. We will tell you which it is rather than defaulting to the expensive option.
Will my insurance cover a chip repair?
Very often, and frequently with the excess waived or reduced for a repair specifically — some policies include one free chip repair a year. It costs nothing to check. Have your policy number handy when you call and we will go through it with you.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and given over the phone — tell us the make, model, year and what the damage looks like and you get a firm number, not a range. There is no call-out fee either.
