Mobile windscreen repair in Mackenzie
Newer estates, wide streets and late-model cars — which in windscreen terms means one thing: most Mackenzie replacements need ADAS calibration.
Chip repairs in about 30 minutes, full windscreen replacements in 60 to 90. Same day on most bookings, no call-out fee to Mackenzie, and all insurers handled.
Late-model cars, camera behind the glass
Mackenzie's housing stock is recent and so is its vehicle fleet. A high proportion of the cars we do here carry a forward-facing camera bonded to the windscreen, which has to be recalibrated after any replacement.
Talk it through with a technician-
ADAS calibration on site
Lane-keeping, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise all read the road through that camera. We re-aim it to the manufacturer's target after fitting.

Quoted up front
Calibration adds 30 to 60 minutes and is quoted before we start. It is never a surprise line on the invoice.

Estate driveways
Wide, flat and level. Mackenzie is one of the easier suburbs on our run — we park at the kerb and work without fuss.

Stone chip repair
Resin injected under vacuum into the break, cured and polished flush. Stops the chip spreading and keeps your original factory-sealed glass in the car.
About 30 minutesWindscreen replacement
Old screen cut out cleanly, the pinchweld prepped and primed, new glass bonded with automotive urethane to the correct bead height.
60–90 minutesSide & rear glass
Door glass, quarter glass and rear windows, including vacuuming the shattered tempered glass out of the door cavity, carpet and seat rails.
Same visitADAS calibration
Forward-facing camera re-aimed to the manufacturer’s target spec after fitting, so lane keeping and emergency braking read the road correctly.

Does my car need ADAS calibration?
If there is a camera housing behind the rear-view mirror, or the car has lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition or adaptive cruise control, then yes. Most vehicles built in the last several years do. Give us the make, model and year on the phone and we will confirm before quoting.
What happens if calibration is skipped?
Nothing visible, which is the problem. An uncalibrated camera does not throw a warning light — it simply reads the road slightly wrong. For a system that decides when to brake for you, that is the worst possible failure mode, which is why we will not fit a screen and leave it uncalibrated.
How much longer does it take?
Thirty to sixty minutes on top of the 60 to 90 minutes for the replacement itself, so allow around two to two and a half hours in total for a Mackenzie job on a late-model car.
