Mobile windscreen repair in Brisbane City

We come into the CBD and fit the glass where your car is already parked — the office basement, a commercial car park, a hotel bay or a street bay. You keep working; the car gets fixed.

Chip repairs in about 30 minutes, full windscreen replacements in 60 to 90. Same day on most bookings, no call-out fee into the city, and all insurers handled.

Working in the CBD

The city has its own rules. We plan around them.

Fitting a windscreen in Brisbane City is not the same job as doing it in a suburban driveway. Bays are timed, basements are height-restricted, and nobody wants a service van blocking a loading dock at 9am.

So we ask three questions when you call: where exactly is the car parked, how long is it staying there, and what is the clearance. That is usually enough to lock in a time that costs you nothing but the glass.

Talk it through with a technician
  • Office and basement car parks

Our van needs about 2.1 m of clearance. Where a basement is lower than that we carry the glass and gear down to the bay instead, or work on a higher deck.

  • Timed and metered street bays

A chip repair fits comfortably inside a two-hour bay. A replacement plus cure time does not — for street parking we will steer you to an all-day bay or a commercial car park.

  • While you are at work

Most city jobs are booked mid-morning and finished before lunch. You hand over the keys, go back upstairs, and drive home on new glass.

  • Loading zones and docks

We will not park a van across a building's loading dock during peak deliveries. Tell us the building and we will pick a window that suits their dock times.

  • Hotels and short stays

Visiting the city and picked up a chip on the way in? We will come to the hotel car park before you head back out of town.

Brisbane City FAQs

What city customers ask

General questions on the full FAQ page.

Do you actually come into the Brisbane CBD?

Yes — city jobs are a regular part of the week. We fit glass on cars parked in office building car parks, secure basements, hotel bays, commercial car parks and on-street around Eagle Street, Riverside, North Quay and Spring Hill. There is no call-out fee for coming into the city.

Can you work in a basement car park?

Usually. The service van needs roughly 2.1 metres of clearance, which rules out some older CBD basements. Where it does, we carry the glass and tools down to the bay by hand, or ask you to move the car to a higher deck or a nearby street bay. Tell us the building on the phone and we will work it out before we set out.

How long will my car be off the road?

A chip repair is about 30 minutes. A full replacement is 60 to 90 minutes plus roughly an hour of cure time before the car should be driven. Most city customers book while they are at work and pick the car up at the end of the day, so the job costs them no time at all.

Can you come while my car is in a two-hour bay?

For a chip repair, comfortably. For a full replacement, no — the fitting plus the cure time will overrun the bay and you will collect a ticket. For street parking in the city we recommend an all-day bay, a commercial car park or your office basement.

Which inner suburbs are on the same run?

Spring Hill, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, Newstead, Teneriffe, Kangaroo Point, South Brisbane, West End, Highgate Hill, Milton, Paddington, Petrie Terrace, Woolloongabba and Toowong are all part of the same inner-city run, at the same price and usually on the same day.

Can I get it done same day?

Most days, provided the glass for your vehicle is in stock. Call 0451 180 046 early with your make, model and year and we will confirm a time and a firm price on the phone rather than a range.

My car was broken into in a city car park. Can you help?

Yes, and quickly — a car with a missing side window should not be left in a public car park overnight. We replace door, quarter and rear glass, and we vacuum the tempered fragments out of the door cavity, the carpet and the seat rails so they do not rattle loose later.
