Growth means roadworks

Redbank Plains has been under construction for a decade, and construction means loose surface, gravel spill and truck traffic on residential streets. Chip damage here is constant and mostly low-speed, which is the good kind.

Talk it through with a technician
  • Estate roadworks stone

New-estate roads carry gravel spill and truck traffic. Low-speed chips are shallow and repair cleanly.

  • Both cars in one visit

Two-car households are the norm here. Chips on the second car get done while the first screen cures.

  • Around school hours

Mid-morning bookings by default — after drop-off, finished before pick-up.

What we do in Redbank Plains

Every auto glass job, brought to your driveway

Stone chip repair

Resin injected under vacuum into the break, cured and polished flush. Stops the chip spreading and keeps your original factory-sealed glass in the car.

About 30 minutes

Windscreen replacement

Old screen cut out cleanly, the pinchweld prepped and primed, new glass bonded with automotive urethane to the correct bead height.

60–90 minutes

Side & rear glass

Door glass, quarter glass and rear windows, including vacuuming the shattered tempered glass out of the door cavity, carpet and seat rails.

Same visit

ADAS calibration

Forward-facing camera re-aimed to the manufacturer’s target spec after fitting, so lane keeping and emergency braking read the road correctly.

Redbank Plains FAQs

What locals ask

General questions on the full FAQ page.

There are roadworks everywhere here. Is that why I keep getting chips?

Almost certainly. Fresh estate roads carry loose gravel, and construction traffic tracks stone onto sealed surfaces. The consolation is that residential-speed impacts are shallow, so a very high proportion of Redbank Plains damage repairs rather than needing a new screen — provided you get to it before it spreads.

Can you do two cars at the same address?

Yes, and it is cheaper than booking two visits. While one windscreen cures the technician can repair chips on the second vehicle. Mention both cars when you call so we bring the right glass for each.

Can you come between school runs?

That is our default here. A mid-morning start gets a chip repair or a full replacement, plus cure time, finished comfortably before the afternoon pick-up.
