A branch hit my windscreen — is that repairable?
It depends on what it left behind. A branch that leaves a single small break can often be repaired like any chip. But branch and wildlife strike more often produce a crack rather than a neat break, and a crack longer than about 15 cm, or one in the driver's line of sight, means replacement.
